Prepare for flight as the latest installation from the Jordan Brand is here! Jordan Brand unveils the latest Air Jordan 33: the first silhouette to feature Jordan Brand's new Fastfit system with forefoot and heel Zoom Air cushioning!
The Air Jordan 33 draws inspirations from space suits and also details from the Air Jordan 3 with the Nike Air logo on the heel.
“This year’s game shoe, the AJ XXXIII, is the first basketball shoe to feature the Fastfit technology, which provides ultimate lockdown to prepare athletes for flight,” said Michael Jordan in a statement.
The Air Jordan 33 is the first basketball sneaker to feature Jordan Brand's Fastfit system - a lacing system that allows users to tighten the AJ33 with a simple pull of the forefoot strap (which activates the tightening cables). To remove the sneaker, simply pull the side loops to loosen the cables.
The uppers of the Air Jordan 33 features a mix of textile and synthetic leather. Designed to be the fastest Air Jordan silhouette, the Air Jordan 33 will be cushioned by a large-volume forefoot Zoom Air unit and a hex Zoom unit at the heel. On top of that, Flight Speed with the same carbon plate used in the Zoom Vaporfly 4% is also used in the cushioning setup.
With so much thought put into this Air Jordan 33, it seems like the pair truly has the potential to be the "game shoe" of the year! We can't wait for October to come as the Air Jordan 33 will be releasing on 18 October at Nike and selected Jordan Brand retailers!
