Nike 'Be True' Collection 2018

by Team Sneakest June 01, 2018

Rainbow themed sneakers returns for Nike's 'Be True' collection 2018!

The Nike 'Be True' collection is an annual collection that celebrates the LGBTQ community. This year's collection includes the Nike Air Max 270, Nike Epic React Flyknit, Nike VaporMax Plus and Nike Zoom Fly.

The collection is highlighted by six rainbow coloured details, with emphasis on shades of Lavender that symbolizes the LGBTQ culture. A Pink triangle is also used throughout the collection. The Pink Triangle was used to identify LGBTQ individuals during WWII, then later adopted by the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) in their “Silence=Death” campaign from the ’80s.

The Nike 'Be True' Collection will be released on Nike SG and selected retailers this coming 6 June, with matching apparels such as T-shirts, socks, hat and a heritage hip pack to match your kicks!
